I said I would come back by win or lose.
Congrats on a good win in a tough environment. The defense is the real deal, not that I needed this game to prove that. #7 (on defense) is a freak. 'nuff said.
Good luck the rest of the way and maybe we meet again in December, maybe not. Regardless of if it is us or another Coastal team, I think Clemson heads to the CFP once again. Hats off to Dabo and especially your team because barring injury, your offense is going to get even better as the season goes on. Not sure the defense can get much better, honestly.

Good luck to you! I have to say, Hokie fans have a lot more class than Louisville fans. I guess that is also reflected in the coaches at VaTech vs. the coaches at UL.

Keep looking. His post is on the first page for now, anyway, along with several others from Hokies.
Hokies were proud of our team last Friday and just as proud today. No shame losing to a better team. It gives them a target to aim at. Disappointed, but not discouraged. We will do this again, probably sooner rather than later.

Well, I have been reading up a little trying to find out why they were up there. The best I can tell, the visiting bands seating is part of the allotment of tickets sent to Clemson for visiting teams, which at VT incorporates that last section of the east side where they were perched at the top, and the closest portion of the south end zone just beside the east stands. I think the standard is 3000-5000 seats.
The band seating is part of that allotment. To the best of my knowledge, VT doesn't care where they sit, so it wasn't VT who stuck them up high. It was Clemson. The only reason I can think of is to give fans who spent good money on travel and tickets the better seats.
Clemson decides what to do with those tickets once they receive them. Your gripe isn't with VT, it is with Clemson.
