Just watched Forest Gump, for the 100th time.

One of the top 10 movies of my generation. The political implications, domestic violence, civil rights, Vietnam war. It really had it all. Tom Hanks played it perfectly.

I think with her crappy upbringing, she was as "limited" as Forrest was... maybe worse.
One thing that I didn't "get" while I was younger, was how Forrest described Jenny's dad as being "loving" and always hugging on the girls. To me, realizing that she was being molested and abused by her dad really made me feel sorry for her and cut her some slack.
