siriusxm is funny, they are like hey, your 6mos promotional rate has expired and we are going to now charge you $125/6mos.
I am like, no, I want to pay what I paid last time, $50/6mos.
That rate is not available any more, do you want to reduce your channels like by half and pay $100/6mos.
No, I want to pay what I paid last time.
OK, transferring you to second line of defense.
Next person was like, how bout $43/6mos?
SOLD.

Had to get to second line of defense for Directv and she gave me $40 off/12mos plus HBO free for 3 mos.

I wonder how many people just pay the amount that is requested?

Did this with Dish. The first guy was like, well there's really nothing we can do. Second guy was like well there's really nothing we can do. Said, Ok, I'll call Direct and see what they can do.

3 days later I call Dish back and said so I talked to Direct and before I could finish dude was like Hey bro how bout we cut that bill in half?

Sold.
