How will Clemson handle being the favorite this year?

Everyone expects us to smash ND. It's the only thing I'm seeing on social media, radio etc. even ND fans aren't confident.

This is quite different than previous playoff trips where it kinda felt like we had something to prove. Even last year, we were #1 but it was still Bama who we were facing.

What do you guys think of the general feeling that ND has no chance?

We have been favored in every game we have played this season. Dabo will keep them boys focused.

I agree that this is a very odd feeling. I hope that the leadership of the team will erase any thoughts that this will be an easy game.

At the same time I am hoping that Notre Dame will have a player or two say something dumb to get our guys attention.

I don't think it affects them one iota.

Dabo, the coaches & players won't have the time or inclination to waste a second on what others think about us or predict. Too focused on preparing for the next game - & we hope the one in Santa Clausara.

I agree but being doubted and the underdog has been talked about a lot by our team in previous games.

We are 2-2 in playoff games where nobody gave us a chance. I think the Oklahoma game in 15 we were the underdog, but I don't remember it being so slanted toward them winning. So maybe you are right and it doesn't matter to much. I hope you are right at least.

Before the OU game. I feel like it was slightly leaning toward Oklahoma because it was really our first time in the big time.
