Warm Up the Fax...Clem vs SC Rematch Highly Possible

You may not feel like it today, but at some point this week I would hope you would want a second shot at SC. Regardless of feelings, it very well could happen and the athlete in me (washed up shell of it) would like nothing more than another chance before Nov 2013.
Cotton/Outback can select from the other division as long as the other bowl has a chance to first select from their assigned east/west division. If the Cotton takes LSU, I can't see a scenario where Outback wouldn't take the Heisman trophy winner & his team, leaving the next pick to CFA bowl. The choice seems to be easy then, SC is 100 times more attractive than Miss St/Vanderbilt.

Trust me. Dabo is in the new AD's office as we speak begging him not to allow that situation to happen. He could lose to anyone else in a biwl andit wouldnt matter. In fact nobody would care. This was a two game season and everybody knew it when the season started. After losing those two games, the bowl is just a trip to end the season. No way does Dabo want to risk hwaring the hell that would be raised if he lost twice in one season to Spurrier. And it might would be worse next time. If Clowney was healthy he might have ten sacks.

Bowl committees look for what would make good TV and draw audience .... A Clemson/Chicken rematch would draw a large audience ... lots of passion, no secret that the teams do not exchange Christmas Cards

i have never been on a team that lost a game and didn't want the chance to get another shot at'em. there has been more than a handful of times two teams have played in the same year. the %'s are pretty good that the loser of the 1st game won the 2nd.

Both schools have towl the Chick Fil A people that they would prefer not t do a rematch. I think if we fall past the Outback the Chick Fil A will pass us by too, putting us in Gator.

yeah, with us going 10-2 with two road losses to highly ranked teams you would think we could get a more prestgious bowl. however, alot of our fans are hoping for the gator bowl. we have not been there in a long time, it is a shorter distance, and i think it has same payout as outback. i think we would travel well to jacksonville. if we cant get cap 1, and we wont, i would just as soon have gator as outback or chick-fil-a.
