hey grandpaw, what's for supper?

kinda early, but I'm not cooking. Here it's chicken breasts stuffed with tomato pesto, spinach, and mozzarella cheese. Sides will be wild rice blend and roasted broccoli.
Beverage will be Devil's Backbone Cattywompus, one of my most favorites. They discontinued it but brought it back at the Nelson County location, where they do 15-keg special batches. Daughter of had to be there, so she brought dear old dad a couple growlers.

they have it in the local grocery now. But only the Vienna Lager. I'm greedy, I want the 16 Point Imperial IPA that you brought to the tailgate. Good stuff.

16 Point is a year-round availability in some markets like Va now, and Greenville market is a big market for them, so maybe it will show up there.

Beer in hand and watching whatever the heck the kids pick on tv. Lazy Sunday... so we watch American Ninja Warriors and stuff crockpot chicken in our faces while we prepare for allergy induced comas a little later. It's Spring baby!

Grilling some well seasoned chicken thighs.

Made a pouch of asparagus with butter, garlic, and seasoned with a little season salt. Put that on the grill with the chicken. Hope it turns out okay. Did it on a whim. Arrogant ####### to start the chicken. A New Belgium Reserve Sour Saison currently. It’s surprisingly good as a New Belgium offering, and the first thing even related to a sour that I didn’t think was pretty bad. Prost, lunge!

Went simple, seasoned with olive oil and Montreal steak seasoning. Pulled those off and replaced on the grill with in husk corn on the cob and some eggplant slices.
Not too bad.
