Hypothetically

Would UGA Clemson be able to move if not allowed full capacity? Is it strictly a contractual game with the stadium? Or is it up to the teams/sponsors? (See rose bowl in Dallas this playoff year)

Jacksonville, Tampa etc could possibly accommodate those crowds.

The problem is that UGA does not travel well.***

Very true. Wouldn’t look good to have 15% red.

If you think about it-

-You're right, UGA does not travel well
-Charlotte has been described as a "home game" for Clemson in ACCCGs
-Clemson's Death Valley will be full capacity
-A "home game" might as well be a home game
-Welcome to the Valley, Kirbie

Seemingly a simple decision on the horizon

I think if they were going to move it they would have already. It is sponsored by Dukes Mayo which is owned by a company out of Charlotte and hosted by the Charlotte sports foundation. Im not in the business of selling title sponsorships but I imagine it would be a hard sell with even this much time. Plus if the ACC has anything to do with the location it aint moving. All that being said I thought they should have moved the ACCCG but that didnt happen.

Most likely. Just wishful thinking. Biggest kickoff game since bama FSU 2017 deserves a sold out crowd
