If our defense had been as bad as Oklahoma’s over the past several years then I’d also hope that Dabo wouldn’t be taking our QB out of an 18 point game with over 8 minutes left either. A Houston score here would make it an 11 point game with around 5 minutes left.

I just checked, and Trevor Lawrence was still in against BC and threw an interception with 3:36 left in the game, and we were up 27-7.

And Lawrence threw a touchdown against Duke with 11 minutes left to make the game 35-6, and not to mention the South Carolina game.

Not only that but they play in a conference where all the defenses give up 50 pts a game and 500 yds. Their qbs are allowed to have huge games. But I guess Lincoln Riley is a QB guru.

When players are allowed to grab up cheap stats like that against inferior teams, that to me says they really don't have the best of confidence in that player to get those stats against the tougher SEC teams like Vandy, Arkansas, or the coots. No wonder they are so tired at the end of the season, they play for personal rewards over team championships!!!!
