There were a lot of open wideouts last night. We will see how good our secondary really is when we play against Bama. They will keep better protection and they have NFL caliber wideouts

Our qb to beat them. It's a shame we didn't win back to back but you can guarantee we will get out played on special teams.
Tua didn't seem so gimpy against Citadel. He might be healing up from that scope job a few weeks ago.

They were ableto run the football against our defense in 2016 and 2017 .
This defense isn't allowing the run game . I think , should we get Bama this year in the playoff/NCG they will absolutelyhave to be a balance team on offense to beat us . We will putpoints on the board against them , possibly 30+ . They'll get theirs , but how much will be the difference .
Last night you saw a Coot offense doing a lot of things formation-wise and personnel grouping-wise that we hadn't seen them do . They had a good offensive gameplan and they executed it really well , hats off ... lost by 3 tds.
That is Bama's or any one else's task against us ... beat us straight up ( ain't gonna happen ) or become unconventional and throw the entire kitchen sink in and see what happens. The message from the Dirtpeckers last night was abandon the run and go full 5-wide and still lose by an embarrassing margin .
Can't wait to see this team in Charlotte !

Plan and it caused a shocking amount of coverage busts.
Hopefully this will cause the defense to play with much better focus and preparation from here on out.

You’re right, had some busted coverages too. We’ve been the benefit of some opponents drops too.
Think I counted two int’s that I S could have made. I’m no coach for sure but we do have weaknesses.

I'm going to watch the game again but their Ol did a decent job of protecting Bentley most of the evening. On those other games we rushed, hurried and sacked the quarterback which greatly affected their passing.
Bentley had way too much time to throw last night.
