People thought it was cute to make fun of him because he was a 5th year senior...if you recall during the natty...ignoring the fact Alabama has about 8-9 RS senior starters a year.
Hunter being the class act he is just embraced it and went along with it.

I had the same feelings towards Connor Shaw.The guy seemed like he was at USC for 10 years. He wasn't flashy, but was very efficient and was a winner. I thought he would never leave!!

I dont think he ever redshirted did he? I thought he just got scholarship after his first camp and went from there for 4 years. The joke here is opponents wanted him to graduate almost from the beginning so it seemed to them he was there for ever

He took a redshirt in 2014 to get in WR shape..He was at like 155 LBs..the weigh-in during the 2015 season he was 176...

thanks for correcting me. I either forgot or didnt know that. I guess I remember him getting the scholarship but not that he was there for a year when that happened.
