Never ghosted a one night stand. Heck, never ghosted period

Had to Google the term and I'm not one of those guys. But I was totally open and honest about a one night stand. No ghosting was ever necessary. Truly no consequences, other than awesome seches. It was surprising how many times honesty paid off. Like over 50% of the time.

Now how this would work today, with the internet, and #MeToo and such, I don't know. But I'd rather be honest and get slapped in the face and have a girl walk off than bull#### her into bed when I didn't plan to date her or at least attempt to have a relationship. Had several ES looks and several walk off. But more actually stayed the night than bolted.

They never wavered and neither did I, except once. But only because she didn't have a place to stay. I knew why she jumped in the sack. She wasn't honest, but I knew. Even then I was up front, and gave her a week. After a week she didn't have a place to stay and I told her she had to leave. She didn't take it bad. She knew I was letting her stay there for ONLY a week. Even told her she could sleep on the couch. She chose not to.

Anyway, another life. But there are not ALWAYS consequences. Now dating, yes. There probably ARE always consequences, unless she leaves. One night stands....never had any consequences. And never ghosted anyone. If I dated them and things went south, and I was the one ending things, I did it face to face. And told them exactly why. I once broke a heart in high school by breaking up harshly over the phone and swore never to do that again. "Ghosting" is just something I've never done, probably because I've never needed to do it. Even the girl in high school who was a LDR that I kind of ghosted, I finally ended it. What a ###### way to end a relationship by simply disappearing. You owe it to have closure, to them and yourself.
