Huge day for Tee

Mar 12, 2020, 9:52 AM

I'm excited for all of our former players who have the opportunity to impress scouts today. No one has a bigger opportunity than Tee Higgins. After not running at the combine, fractions of a second could be the difference in a top 10 or a second round pick.

Tee is not top 10 no matter what he runs.

He is fighting just to be in the 1st round right now.

He was pushed down because he didn't participate in the combine. If he combines his size with 4.4 speed he will jump up the board quickly.

He seems to be solidly behind Lamb, Jeudy, and Ruggs

Kind of fighting for WR 4/5 spots based on what I've heard. Of course it only takes 1 front office to really love a guy for them to go higher, but Tee isn't going top 10. Top 10 is going to be dominated by QBs, OTs, and the defensive freaks (Young, Okudah, and Simmons).

Look forward to hearing about our guys showing off their skills today. Particularly an opportunity for those who didn't receive a combine invite. Show Up and Show Out Tigers!

Well then. Looks like he made the right decision avoiding the combine.

How did he do in drills?

No, he should have run at the combine if he was healthy, a

hand timed 4.4 on his home track doesn't move the needle like a good combine time, it would only be a bigger red flag if he ran poorly at his Pro Day

Sigh...please stop posting the numbers that you either read online from some hack or plucked randomly from your head.

Tee ran a 4.54/4.56, which isn't bad for his size and catch radius. Probably about what folks thought, so hopefully he performed well enough in drills to impress a team like Buffalo that's set up to take him in the first.

For reference, Mike Williams ran a 4.54 at the Combine back in 2017.

The 31" vert is a bit disappointing.

4.43 would be an outstanding 40 time though.
