KJ leaving was a complete suprise, and really left the program in shambles...
not only did BB have to rebuild from the Purnell disaster... but right before he reached the mountain top, KJ up and left... setting us back years...
just give him time

We're too young.
We've had people leave/graduate/go to the pros.
Our basketball arena isn't not as good.
We have too many injuries.
When are we going to demand a winning basketball program (men's and women's)?

Yes. Losing a borderline NBA talent after an NIT season spun this program into chaos that we could not overcome. Esp after being so down after the last coach left us with four and five star talent from a team that reached 5 consecutive NCAA tournaments. Brad has had it really tough. Let's give him 7 more years, yall!

Bingo. If we are going to be a perennial non-NCAA team then let's do it with new coaches every 3-4 years until we hit on one. The problem is everyone says brownell needs time to stock the shelves but I've never felt like we are a particularly well coached team under him. There has always been a lot of sloppy ball handling, passing, fouling, and clock management. Always not just this season. People who don't see it won't ever see it because they don't want to, and they are the same ones who defended tommy west until the bitter end, Bowden until the bitter end, and shyatt until the bitter end. But then jump for joy when a replacement works out who we would have never gotten if a move wasn't made. It ain't working folks.
