Around the White House especially?
It is sickening how many Groups have literally planted themselves in the area with the sole purpose to protest anything and everything and generally make themselves a nuisance to true tourists.

Some woman with a group protesting something over Iran and Israel (not the famous woman who has been there since 1983) approached me with a pamphlet and wanted to talk my ear off. I told her I wasn't a journalist; I'm just taking pics for fun. She gave me a dirty look and walked off.

plague infested, so I ain't been in a while. But I don't remember that being much of a problem during the Dubya or Obama years. Maybe it's a sign that we have a shiddy, no account, lying bass turd for a President.

how about people have some pride in their cities and towns and pick up after themselves. How about going out to your local park like we did and collecting the trash. How about throwing that bottle back into your backpack and take it back home or to hotel and throw it away. Have some pride about yourself instead of being a douchebaggery. That is what needs to happen.

All those government services you're missing during the shutdown? Nothing you can't do yourself with a little can do attitude. Upset that the museums are closed? Just go Nicholas Cage yourself the Declaration of Independence.
