How many car flags have you lost due to rolling down window

accidentally?
I lost one yesterday on the Ravenel Bridge when I rolled down my car window to let a mosquito out. I’ve lost at least a dozen over the years.

The wife lost one recently as she was figuring out how to operate a new company vehicle. I lost an “all in” magnet in the car wash when the attendant failed to remove it.
Flags have gotten expensive! I replaced the one lost, but will guard mine as Tiger fans in Cootville have to be careful.

I haven't lost any but have a $650 Orange Tiger flag. I was driving out of my driveway at the farm, rolled down the back window and the flag fell to the road. I said I'm not going to lose that flag, so I stopped the truck and started backing up. Well I forgot my trailer was hooked up to the truck and because of the curve, it jack knifed into the truck bed. I got pi$$3d, got the flag and got the truck fixed. I wish I had stayed and had another cup of coffee that morning.

A couple years ago my coot father in law lost two flags when driving to Clemson for the USuC game. Some young kids pulled up next to him on 26, shot him a bird, and then sped away. In a fit of road rage, he sped after them and when he got next to their car he rolled his front windows down to give them a piece of his mind. He lost two flags, which only made the teenagers laugh harder at him. Coots are going to coot.

I had a new set of flags at the spring game in 2016 and rolled down just before hitting the highway out of Clemson. Luckily with the heavy traffic we were in a slow roll. Every one had a good laugh watching this old lady run down the road chasing my flag, got it!

Simple car flag save - I loop a short piece of 20# monofilament to the flag

and attach the other end to inside door handle. It’s easy, cheap and has saved several flags so far!
