Unfortunately those counters worked because of an undersized Boulware and his inability to run horizontally. Love Ben, glad he is on our side but that's what happened.

I think James is a good rb that should work well in the NFL but Cook is oh sh$t fast and that's why he almost took over the game

He had the patience and discipline to let the blocks develop and then the speed to not just get the edge, but to get the edge and then beat everyone down the sideline. We made some mistakes defensively, particularly on the 2nd long run, but a lot of the credit has to go to Cook. 99% of RBs don't get past Van Smith on that first run. On the 2nd run we had nobody out on the edge which was likely some kind of bust, but Cook still just exploded upfield once he got around the corner.

Connor is good, and will get some yards I think, as they do some creative things. That said, Cook is a game changer, and FSU does use him pretty well.

but he's no Cook.
Sure they talked about his cancer and built up his game on ESPN. I hate cancer, and I'm sorry it was something he had to endure...but he's about to meet #2.
This game will be more like Sarah Cues than Nancy's Taint.
Miami put 51 on them. CBV will have the defense ready.
