How good is UNC in basketball?

Jan 6, 2020, 8:36 AM

their 8-6 record can’t be as bad it looks, can it? Do we have any chance in Chapel Hill on Saturday? I haven’t watched much UNC basketball at all this year, just hoping for some insight, Go Tigers!

Poor Roy they have some injuries. SO he has to pick some backup HS all american to play in those guys place. No matter how sorry they are we probably wont be up to it given our history of failure there.

Best player Cole Anthony is injured and going pro. Roy W. is

singing the blues. Heels still have decent talent but frankly Roy’s ability to coach at this point is questionable.

UNC should win at home vs. Clemson this year. Clemson fans should manage their expectations and “focus” on football.

The UNC basketball "Investors"

can't be happy with the return on their" investments" this season.

Three of their losses were to top 10 teams...

The only common opponent thus far is Yale. UNCheat beat Yale by 3. Clemson lost to Yale at home by 10.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

If we’re down by one at the end of the game, I say

go for the 2-pt conversion. Don’t want no stinkin’ OT!

I’ve seen this movie and The Tigers will roll in there and shoot 22% from the floor and 9% from three land. It’s up to the turdholes to beat those gaudy numbers.

1976 Indiana Hoosiers.... or 1983 Houston Cougars .... 1992 Duke .... 2012 Kentucky....

I'm guessing 74-53 ...Them.

probably Roy's weakest UNC team

Jan 6, 2020, 1:07 PM

with Cole Anthony out. 2-3 without him, and could have easily lost the Yale game

they really struggle to score sometimes... witness the 0-15 start vs GaTech on Saturday.

the Heels are usually very fast and high-scoring, but not this year. only been over 80 points twice - and lost both

the problem the Heels present the Tigers is the two bigs.. Brooks and Bacot, although only Brooks has been a decent scorer

the flip side of that is Simms is a tough match-up for the Heels

they still have some talent..

if the Tigers can shoot well (not great, just decent) they can win

{posted nearly this same thing a couple weeks ago - before Brooks had his big scoring game)
