How far into a game do you start getting a feeling

Aug 27, 2012, 8:00 PM

about how it will turn out?

In all honesty, I sometimes get it within the first few minutes or even first few plays. Like 08 Bama, I knew after our first poss on both sides it was going to be a long night. Now, this isn't alwaysscase, but often it is.

don't give a d@mn what anyone does: I'm going to the bathroom! lol Seriously, I usually have a fairly good idea when our opponents are up by, say, 40 points or more. After that, see the first sentence....

Auburn game last season at half time I told my roommate that the game was over you could just feel it in the atmosphere at the valley, on the other hand I thought we we were going to get our ### handed to us at maryland from the first half.

When we kicked a FG against WVU I knew it was over.

We weren't stopping them. I turned to my father in law and said, "We just lost the game."

Half way through the 3rd quarter. Gotta give teams a chance

to adjust at the half. Think of what Clemson did to Maryland in the 3rd quarter last year. If a team is down and they don't make a move in the first 7-8 minutes of that 3rd quarter, its usually done.
