job prestigious, form a unit that is focused on protecting the rock. They walk tours in front of it 24/7, cadets get scholarship money, recognition, yada, yada. Ties Clemson to its very proud military history.
Just a thought.
Whatever we do, protect the f ing rock.

That was my idea. They need practice standing duty if they're going into the military.

But if Clemson was a "Nation" guarding The Rock would be like guarding the Statue of Liberty so it is an Honor.

There aren't many people in ROTC anymore

And for 1/3 of the year there aren't any on campus. Logistically not a practical solution.
