OL unsung hero today

Sep 29, 2018, 3:59 PM

And I'm sure you noticed, starters were replaced in 2nd half. Man playing best plays. Anywhere

Cervenka. Really brought it on that last 94-yard drive.

Stewart got blown up on the play before TL got hurt. Ugh, growing pains, but it worked out.

Yes . Sometimes adversity ( lack of an experienced passer ) can present an opportunity for growth somewhere else.
So many guys gained a lot of confidence today , that they can use down the road .

Absolutely. No argument that the offensive line did a great job with the game on the line. Running backs made them look even better picking their holes and running with authority. Deep down, a national championship contender should be able to beat another good team at home by physically imposing their will with a running game in the 4th quarter. Such depth and strength will overcome turnovers and loss of starting quarterbacks. Great comeback win for Clemson.

How about Syracuse #90

You gotta admit that penalty he got may have cost them the game. They had momentum and if they went down and scored it would have been tough to come back.

Hope they begin to start games. Much better than the 1st team group.

And just to follow that up, I think the running game will start becoming even more of the
game plan to shoulder less of a burden on the QBs.
