Hopefully, goodbye, Jack

Hopefully, we get rid of Coach Leggett

May 11, 2014, 1:25 PM

It's time.

And for those Clemson fans who are loyal to the coaches, just remember that coaches can leave and have left school without any regards to loyalty.

Example: ###### Barnes.

its 10 to 3 ND, and they have hit 3 HR's in this inning...
and have only hit 7 all year.
I think its the btm of the 5th.

Jack started Zack Erwin..

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I can understand starting Erwin; he has

been pitching well as of late. But, the offense is NOT capable today to help out.

The only problem is most of the "ups" turn into really steep "downs" very quickly.

It's not because of Jack but the fans are to blame-wow. Please tell everybody how you are related to the man.

Exactly ....

May 11, 2014, 7:51 PM

Jack has lost the team, the team has lost hope, and the fans have lost interest. And, that will show in revenues.

DRad may have no choice but to show Jack the boot as a business decision. And, college sports is a business. You put out a lousy product, you go out of business.

No one wanted this season-the head man is NOT doing a good job; maybe in your line of work no accountability is the norm.

Most baseball programs lose money yearly, some break even...very few make money(LSU, Scar, etc).

We would be in the lose money category presently.

Re: You have a state job, don't you?***

May 12, 2014, 12:21 AM

I would like to see any CBB teams books that show them turning a profit for their university. I just dont think that its logically possible to expect to make money when half your games are away and television contracts are break even at best.
College Baseball does not make money for its institutions.

PLAYERS (except for Goose) and coaches don't deserve to be in a tournament.

have you watched crowny this year?

Re: Goodbye, Tournament

May 11, 2014, 4:42 PM

Our starting pitching is good enough, our offensive stats look good enough. Our bullpen is inferior, to put it nicely...and our defense very subpar but has improved slightly. Our clutch play is terrible and at times we look like little leaguers who just lost the city championship with our body language and composure(and yes that is coaching!).

Jack was open about how great this team would be during the pre season, then we gave the series away to the coots and never seemed to recover. Now he's responding to the fans who are posting about his decline...since when has JL answered to the internet critics? Makes me think he is aware of what's coming. He will not go willingly, he has told the HS coaches as much.

Jack should have been gone 14 or 15 years ago when he started sending players to the coots that would have come to Clemson. He didn't want Henderson from Hillcrest High School, but Ray Tanner took him and used him to beat us in the College World Series in 2002. Henderson is not the only one. Without Scott Wingo, who Jack didn't want although his dad played football and baseball at Clemson, the coots most likely would not have won the College World Series. Jack has done more for the coots than for Clemson.
