Hope they have worked on KB's awareness of 1st down marker

Oct 24, 2017, 10:43 AM

Not sure what's going on but I keep seeing it again and again. KB seems to slow down or "give up" when approaching the 1st down maker as though he thinks he's easily past it. Weird. Would think the coaches would have worked with him more on this. Hopefully we'll see an improved KB on Saturday.

I hope they called Louisville for help. And then did the opposite. ;)

Agreed. You have to know where the line is and sellout for it if it is 3rd down. He's had a few very awkward plays when the line to gain was an arm reach away. With his running skills he should excel in that situation.

It really showed in the VT game how utterly clueless he is to where the sticks are when he came up 3 or 4 yards short of the first after a run, got up and gave the first down gesture.
