Berating players, "fat little girlfriends," and reporters is only tolerated when you're winning. The writing is on the wall, and he might jump ship (pirate pun intended) before he actually gets fired.

Next year will be another six-win season for them (at best) and include a seventh consecutive loss to Clemson which will likely be the last straw that leads to his termination.
