I think if they read the fine print they'd be for a move.

But since a lot don't really understand the numbers/metrics behind TV viewership and how those impact revenues, I'd put the overall % in favor at about 65%-70%.

Tiger fans are nothing if not set in their ways. Good thing this board doesn't get to decide squat, otherwise we'd change coaching staffs every season, LOL...

Most casual fans likely don't realize the ACC is sinking

I'm all for history and tradition, and I do love some of our intra-ACC rivalries, but with the money involved and Tobacco Road centric leadership we just can't afford to stay anymore. I think the casual fan probably doesn't know just how much the landscape has changed recently . . . teams either need to hitch their wagons to one of the big dogs or enjoy becoming mid-majors.

Although I would love to see Clemson play Texas & OU, I think the travel costs (as a fan) would be too much for most fans. I would prefer Clemson consider joining the SEC or improving the ACC and adding Texas & OU to our out of conference schedule.

I think (based on culture & geography) Clemson's best fit is the SEC. Academically (based on the Universities mission) and University size, I think Clemson is best fit for the ACC.

I think most don't *want* to leave. They just see that Clemson has no choice if it wants to be a major football player and have a chance to compete with rival SC. Most of the ones who are against leaving haven't looked at the financial situation. They think because Clemson and SC have similar sized stadiums they must be making the same money.

I would say something like 80% want out of the ACC, not necessarily to join the Big 12. Probably around 80% would be interested in going to the big 12 if we knew that GT, FSU, and Miami were going with us to the Big 12. With our TV deal the ACC appears to be a sinking ship.
We aren't going to be able to compete with the SEC teams we regularly play when they are making considerably more money per year than we are. I also don't think Notre Dame or PSU are going to swoop in at the last minute to save the ACC because they have nothing to gain by coming here. I almost feel like when ESPN became a 24/7 hype machine for the SEC, they pretty much doomed the ACC, especially the ACC schools who have SEC rivals.

1. Leave the ACC or change revenue sharing arrangements
2. Stay in the ACC under same present conditions

I don't want to leave, but we're being forced to.

The only way we stay is: 1 - ACC financial concessions to us 2 - 8 game conference schedule 3 - 8 team NCAA playoff system
Outside of these 3 things happening - we're gone.
