Amazing, you would think we were listening to the Russian State radio program when you hear the Coots justifying why they signed so many 3 star players! They are not caught up in wanting the ball and want leave when they do not get their way! They turn out to be better players and reps for the university etc., yadda, yadda!
That is bunk, they got Lattimore and he was a 5 star and is a great ambassador for USC, they say whatever sound bite that justifies whatever deficiency they have!

sold its collective soul to Gamecock football and must now do everything possible to prop up its primary draw now that it's returning to form. Readership and listeners will flock away in droves as SCar continues to lose. These outlets have alienated other fan bases so much over the past five years that they'll have little to pull from to stay afloat. It's all very just.

started long before SCU's short run of success. The State has always sunshine pumped for SCU, but at one time they did adequately cover Clemson. As far as the TV outlets in Columbia, Clemson started get marginalized when Rick Henry took over for Joe Daggett, who retired. Daggett gave Clemson plenty of fair coverage. Rick Henry changed all that with his unabashed love for the shamecocks. WIS had always got the highest ratings in Cootlumbia, so the other stations mimicked Rick Henry.

I would expect some homerism, just because of the market, but to convince yourself of outright lies is laughable! When our 4-5 Stars develop into the players we believe, when that coot tail gets blistered and OBS retires they will know it!

They were doing this Weds afternoon too after everything was over. Trying to make it like Clemson and Carolina both had equally good classes. And had to thrown in Scout's weird ranking system that had us 15th just to make it sound closer. They like to treat it like its not that big a deal when they don't have a top 5-top 10 class. I only listen for the laughs of how terrible they sound and the idiots that call in.

"no 5 stars played in the superbowl " Whoopty freakin doo! Clemson isn't trying to get to the superbowl, we're trying to get into the playoff & natl championship game & there were tons of em in those games!!!! Nothing worse than sour grapes...

They may not have been top 250 players, but that's still not a terrible class. They also still finished 19th overall, and by taking a high quantity of recruits they may have a better chance to build depth.
Their class just looks a lot worse because it's been trending down for a while. Remember, they were 4th or 5th just a few months ago. Had they been 15th back then, this would look like a pretty quality group.

Yeah, that was before all the DeCootments! They got a great defensive end class and they better hope those guys have or create a lot of pick 6's cause they ain't got no offense!
