strangers about having more Hopslam available. Meh. But she said they're also still sitting on some Goose Island Bourbon County Stouts. Don't know how many or what kind, and I've never even tried it. Worth any effort here?

Jump on it.
They've been making more and more since the AB/InBev acquisition... which is a good thing.
Back in my day (a few years ago), you had to be waiting in line prior to the doors opening on the Friday after Thanksgiving to have a shot at a 4 pack of 12oz bottles. Now in some places, you can find it for months upon months.
At $13 or so a 16.9oz bottle, it is heads and tails above any other stouts out there. These $20-30 bombers that always tempt me are no way near the bargain of the BCBS.
I HIGHLY recommend it.
