Yahoo Sports - they have a video loop showing him over and over punching the NC State player.

Also, did you notice how he was laughing about it when he got to the sideline afterwards?

He deserves what he gets from DS and the ACC.

Battle just keep punching and punching that NCSU DB and he keeps popping up. My hats off to the DB. He reminds me of the Weeble who wobbles...

because he seems serious in his position against that kind of behavior. It's one thing that keeps me thinking he may never be SEC material. He really seems dedicated to the entire player (call it spiritual if you want) and not just being the biggest, baddest player on the field.

Personally, Battle's behavior seem more like street action than football action. A punch and a dance is a lot different than getting in somebody's face or shoving or even knocking them to the ground.

All these people calling for him to be arrested, and for his scholarship to be revoked are being ridiculous.

Have they never played any sports? Or maybe they have no emotions whatsoever.
It's not the first time a punch was thrown in a game and it won't be the last.

what prompted Herbstreits tweet about that-- he walks off the field pointing to himself saying my bad and then his teamates ask him what happened, he explains and basically they give him the ### treatment

The NCAA has a 1/2 game suspension basically because that is all they feel is necessary for such action. DS may make it a 1 game suspension but I doubt he goes any more that that especially with Syracuse on 10/5 and Battle being from NY. Kid made a stupid mistake and will be punished via some suspension and other means.

would take the time to ? and jaw-jack about it.
I was pleased to know that we have someone with the back bone to show he was not pleased with the NC State players play.
Not saying he was right or wrong but as he gets more playing time he will find a way to express the same thought with out being penalized
