I didn't realize it either. I thought that this may be a case of Dabo trying to show the world what type of program we have i.e."We have class and play with class." I did not realize he was keeping our young men away from a potentially bad situation by keeping them on the field at the half. The more I see of Dabo, the more I like him. Our whole coaching staff is intelligent and has common sense, that helps kids grow up into young men.

Clemson entered through a tunnel behind the end zone and Miami entered through a separate tunnel in the corner of the end zone. However, based on the side of the field where each team was located, the two teams had to literally cross paths in order to get to their respective locker rooms. As Dabo said, it was a bad set-up that just lends itself to trouble.

Yeah Dabo didn't say they used the same tunnel. That part was inserted by the writer and put in parenthesis to show that he didn't say it. So writer's fault.

Mixing two hyped-up teams in the same enclosed space is never a great idea, but it seems to be worse whenever Miami is involved ...
Of course another variable in the history of college football brawls is that Lou Holtz was the Irish coach at the time.

who allowed his team to meet Clemson at the bottom of the hill... and they got pimp slapped 3ways to Sunday that day too. but I give Dabo all the credit in the world for thinking ahead and being a man about it...
