Really? CU kicker can put it in the end zone every time. He kicks it to the corner because that's what the coaches tell him to do.

If that's true, the coaches should make sure the coverage guys can do their jobs every time, because that has been a weakness for us, IMO. Last year, our kicker consistantly kicked touchbacks. I wonder why the coaches now are telling our kickers to kick it short? I hold my breath on every kickoff, because we've seen way too many returned past the 25 yd line.

As you said the great programs win despite mistakes and adversity. That was on display Saturday. We saw in Miami what happens when this team operates at high efficiency. I am glad our staff demands the best. In over 50 years of watching Clemson football, I have never seen such consistent effort. The first half of the FSU game was great effort but it was almost like the players were too amped up as evidenced by several overthrows. The second half was almost perfect, a relaxed, confident, relentless effort. Looking forward to seeing how that second half leads to more success.
