I believe it is best for both parties. We have 5 dang good LBs coming in and we would have taken him at LB. I believe the 5 we have are better prepared to play LB already. No denying his skill tho. He will be dang good at whatever side of the ball he plays on.

He’s going to Tennessee so I wouldn’t count on him becoming a great player.

If they backed off or they were told of his choice. Maybe they just did not like the direction it was heading.

Either way the young man made his choice and can now focus on his next path forward.

Good luck to him. As a fan I’ll cheer for the young men that made a great choice to be a Tiger and hopefully make a positive difference for us.
