just can't grasp.

You don't need to be on Tigernet berating Clemson fans ears about how bad ACC football is.....you need to go to the sports websites of about 8 of the other 11 members and start yelling at them to get behind their dang football programs.

Clemson has no control over how those other schools treat their football programs. None. We regularly put 80,000 fannies in DV and are one of the best travelling fanbases in college football....and have been for a long time.

Its THEM you need to convince. We do our part. Taking others comments about ACC football sucking as an insult is pointless......its not Clemson nor Clemson fans doing

See --- this is the garbage that makes this board such a power struggle. Why the heck would a Coot fan want the Tigers in a more competitive conference that would present more opportunity? That's completely counterintuitive - if you don't think the Coots love that we're in the ACC, you haven't talked to any of them or haven't been paying attention.

To answer Jim's questoin --- I can understand that point of view. But
1) us pointing the finger at other fanbases isn't going to change their culture.
2) you completely dismiss the prospect that our conference is completely worthy of discussing --- seeing as how it's terrible...and we just passed a $50 million dollar buyout clause that further restricts our mobility.

Given the current state of affairs, I don't think it's completely crazy or Cootish to question why we're in the ACC or whether or not it's the best thing for us. Not at all.

Wanting Clemson to compete against better competition isn't Cootish. I think most people agree.

I wouldn't exactly say we've done our part over the last 20 years. Making progress? Sure. But as far as winning is concerned we haven't got it done.
