People keep saying Quick came up short or Edmond stopped him short. Why would the greatest QB in college history throw a 3yd pass on 4th and 12. No blame was put on him for that.

Everyone is assuming that had Quick scored that Loserville would have won that game. There was more than enough time for DW4 to take the ball down the field for the winning TD. He proved in the first half that he could take the team the entire length of the field in less than 40 seconds. Something tells me had Quick scored on that play DW4 would have won the Heisman because he would have taken over the game just like he had so many times and won it for us. Instead he just has to take a knee and we win without his heroics. Go Tigers.
