Pre-season Wilkins should be on this list, but even if Watson was back they would find away to slow his momentum.

Heisman list is a bit of a stretch. Even more so considering he's a DL. The only DL in the last ~20 years that i recall getting any Heisman pub at all was Suh back in 2009. Defensive players have virtually no shot at a Heisman and the only ones that have any sliver of a chance return kicks and/or take snaps on offense.

People laugh about Mayfield but his stats are amazing.

yeah he just always sh!ts the bed against fast defenses in big games. he's a good QB for the air-it-out Big 12 but when there is a real defense on the field, he looks awful

They were pretty good against Auburn's D in the Sugar

Bowl. Not great against Ohio State early last year or Clemson in the playoff the year before. I think a lot of that is due to the OL though. The Big XII offenses just don't see very good DLs inside that conference and when they go against one OOC their OLs tend to be over-matched.
