Head coaching must take a toll.

Jan 26, 2013, 7:06 PM

Am I the only one that noticed that Dabo ageing fast? When he was a interim head coach, he looked really young, now he don't look really old, but he looks he aged faster. Head coaching must be really stressful.

I highly doubt he reads this board.

I am suggesting the fan base he deals with is made up of nutty people like those on the board.

well specifically yes. but all of us have our moments.

Of course he reads this.

He'll never admit it, but some of the things he says like the Batson comment after the CFB would certainly indicate he at least spends some time checking out what the fans say here. Maybe once a week or something. He has said other things as well. Tigernet is a good way to keep up with the Jones even for the head coach.

Random thoughts on a Saddy Nite:

Jan 26, 2013, 7:33 PM [ in reply to Re: Head coaching must take a toll. ]

1. I am sure CDS does read some of our drivel to get some laughs...

2. There's a possum-hunting moon out tonight. Thanks to Keith Jackson for that one over the Bayou in the 80's.

3. Roy's Boys in Rolly tonight. No lucky Carowhiney horseshoe for the tar holes.

4. Roy looks like someone anticipating a colonoscopy.

5. Too bad Seth won't be in LJ tomorrow.

6, and lastly....Go Tigers!!!

When you make the kind of $ he rolls in, the stress & aging go with the territory. No sympathy here.

We do Chicken right...it's not just for frying anymore!

Well, if that's true

Jan 26, 2013, 11:03 PM

I'd like to find out. lol

badge-donor-05yr.jpgmilitary_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I think when he started as head coach he was 39/40 and now

Jan 26, 2013, 10:49 PM

he is 43/44. I felt like I didn't age hardly at all from age 25 to 40, but seemed like I aged a lot from 42 to 47. He is probably just at that point where even if you looked young for a long time, it catches up with you.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Just wait, the best is still

Jan 26, 2013, 11:05 PM

ahead of you. Looks do change but your head and heart can stay young if you want them to. And, Tiger, that is very important.
