Dj to me has definitely separated himself as the #2 Qb. Taisun to me is a lot like Kelly Bryant throwing the football. Dj can make all the throws if he has the offensive line to do it. I was really impressed by the ball Dj throws and his release. Also impressed with his mobility. Is Dj as good as Trevor no of course not but he’s not all that far behind either. I believe Dj will be the clear starter come next year and these wide receivers will be pretty experienced after this year as well. My point is let’s enjoy this year with Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne this has the potential to be a special year is the offensive line can mesh enough to open the running game up a bit more. But next year we are loaded with talent and the future at Clemson remains bright for a long time to come.

DJ is far behind where TL was in his freshman year. He can get there, but it'll take a bit longer.

I'm not surprised DJU is behind where TL was as a true freshman. If you watch their High School highlights, DJU looked great. TL looked unreal, like what you'd imagine it would be to see an NFL QB play Middle School kids.
