How do you even begin to reconcile political differences with people like that?

I "eliminated the threat".
Do you see how this DOESN'T work for anybody, regardless of their politics?

Rittenhouse was stupid - but I do believe he was there thinking he was going to help protect the town from rioters. So - he may have confronted a guy that he saw who was up to "no good".

makes sense. Never saw the fire, MC is not exactly an effective offensive weapon and why would anyone throw a bag in their defense? It all sounds BS to me.
Bottom line, the kid wasn't responsible with his weapon. He shouldn't have had it, and none of those idiots should've been there.

Yes. He shot and killed a man and called his friend to brag
Sep 1, 2020, 10:50 AM
|
|
that "I just killed somebody." So, he was so fearful for his life that he called a friend to brag? (That's not going to play well to the jury.) People started to pursue the active shooter to disarm him. People yelled at the cops that he had just shot someone as he attempted to surrender to police, which they ignored.

It was originally said he called 911. Is that incorrect?
Also, a guy running away isn't an active shooter.

It's situational.

[ in reply to I was told people are still a threat when they're running ] |

If you have a situation where, say, the person running away is black or liberal, then definitely still a threat. If the person running away is white and/or conservative and/or militia-affiliated, then definitely NOT a threat.

IDK, how dumb does someone have to be to consider this kid a hero when this entire thing is one big tragedy that unfolded the minute he decided to leave his house with a loaded rifle.

the community. It wasn't wise for Kyle to be there, but he's not the root cause of the problem. I think it's perfectly fine to question his judgement on being there, but after that it's a clear case of self defense.

Sep 1, 2020, 11:23 AM

It was poor judgement on a lot of people's parts.
and There really is not a whole lot the police can can do. Most of their attention is on the large crowds. The second they respond to one incident, the bad actors are already somewhere else, it is like a game of whack a mole. I mean you can send in the national guard and tear gas and shoot rubber bullets until everyone leaves, but that just tend to make things worse when played on a cable news loop for 24 hours straight. All that does is reinforce the narrative of police brutality, which is why they just kind of form a line and control traffic, but not much else.

Not sure too many really think he is a hero. They are compensating for the lies and attacks on the facts and probably just believe the guy is innocent. But, to #### you off they call him a hero.
Sound familiar?
