Same here....Steady improvement

That's all you can ask. Not many teams left to play that play the same style as Furman...except maybe WF. Very pleased so far this season.

“poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.”

He prolly watched the one

where we played about 75%-80% and still coasted to a 28 point victory. He knows we didn't play as good as we're capable, but like he alluded to there were some bright spots in the game and spots where we showed some improvement. Thing is, we haven't had to play all-out for a while now. Essentially not since the 1st half against FSU. Hopefully we can take it to FSU-type intensity and execution when we have to have it. That, of course, is the key. No need to bellyache about a game we won by 28 points. Everyone can see we need to improve in some spots. Just need to make sure we can bring our game to Raleigh.

I am not one to usually give bowden much credit....

but I don't think he could have handles these 2 last games much better.

It was almost if they scripted perfectly.

Both games allowed us to work on the passing game. Remember the passing game? Remember how we could barely complete a swing pass at times last year?

I think bowden knows what he is doing.

Bowden was intentionally critical last week - reminding

his players that they had yet to accomplish anything and he was appropriatly complimentary this week to prepare them mentally for next week.
