Do you put the game in his hands(foot) or in Watson's hands?

I apologize for what I said earlier - about it being the dumbest thing ever (in all caps).

The long snapper had botched the three previous snaps; 2 of them high. you couldn't take the chance. If Gallman had not run out of bounds, there would have only been 5 seconds left in the game. The decision was made a couple of plays earlier.

#1 Gallman DID run out of bounds so that changes the situation. #2 Missing the kick would have the same outcome as not making a first down. #3 If the snap was the real issue Dabo would have said that instead of giving the "playing the percentages" reason.
We won, and that's the important thing, but don't make it out to be some genius decision. Broken defensive plays are more likely than a blocked field goal.

I said nothing about a blocked field goal; I was talking about the snapper. We have lost a game or two by the ball going over or passed kicker or QB

We're gonna kick FGs this year

This was a short one to put a game away. What exactly is your point? If the game were tied right there would we forego the FG and go to OT out of fear of a bad snap?

let him throw the ball to Williams. In completion cost you nothing.

Maybe so, worst case, they get the ball back at the same exact field position with less time... It was a bad call and the wrong call.

He has bigger issues with Xtra points but has been very good with FG's....Kick it....go up 22 - 13 and sit back and enjoy the ending instead of sweating it out to the very last play.....just my opinion....Go Tigers!!!!

Are we not kicking field goals anymore since he missed the extra point?
I'm happy for the win, but very strange decision. Those in support have the gift of hindsight...we are LUCKY the end result was what it was.

T-Netters will justify any coaching decision. No matter what. And throw any player under the bus to do so.

We could have missed the FG

We did fail to get the first down.
You arguing go for it is better than a short FG? After failing on go for it. And watching Auburn get a couple shots for the win.

We're talking about how the game went and decisions made. We all know we won. Sometimes the details are interesting.
