If pigs are so smart, why do 66% of them use weak and inferior materials during construction?

Probably not...

They will pay him for the two weeks he was with the team but most NFL contracts contain a clause requiring players to disclose any situations that may prevent them from continued availability. Contracts also include "morality", "conduct detrimental to the team" or "personal conduct" clauses which basically means if a player engages in any personal conduct reasonably judged to adversely reflect on the team or the league, then Club may terminate the contract for cause (meaning, the team is no longer required to pay the contract).

Hey, years ago there was a trend where California

millionaires were buying beachfront mansions for several million dollars, then bulldozing them and building new ones. Robert Kraft may have just bought himself a football player for one game and then bulldozed him. The money is a mere bagatelle to Kraft, he probably spends that much on custom massages.

He definitely spends that much on massage-related legal fees.

If I could just never see his name scrolling across my screen again while I'm watching a college football game, that would be great.

I care nothing about Antonio Brown. But it seems impossible to get away from reporting about him.

It’s my hope that he and Colin Kaperneck(sp?) end up on skid row talking about what use to be...what a total waste of talent.

I know right? Kap was never involved in any drama. He just simply chose to stand up for something we should all believe in and he’s being mentioned in the same breath with a guy accused of ###### his trainer.

Sad what this world has come to.

He made a choice to kneel at the National Anthem and to be outspoken about it. It wasn’t something that made me feel disdain for him and his choice. Do I think he’ll be homeless, no. Nike has ensured he will be financially secure. It’s not as if this guy was “ beaten down by Da Man” he came from a a financially stable home. As for Brown, he too will never want for a meal but he doesn’t deserve praise for his decisions. He has one job, play football and he won’t do it.

TU. But I don’t think you’ve thought this thing through. The flag represents more than the military. It represents our justice system which was the real aim of Kapernicks protest and our ancestors fought for his freedom to speak out.

The one thing that I enjoy about this forum is that reasonable people can have a reasonable discussion and in doing so, I completely agree with you. My post was a knee jerk, short sighted response. The flag is much bigger than anything one person or a group of people. Thanks for your replies! TU to you Tincup!

Either way, what Kap did wasnt that big of a deal. It was made a big deal for politics. In the scheme of things it was at most misguided, but nobody was hurt.

I don't feel a bit sorry for him. Will serve him right if he never gets a chance to play in the NFL again.

several notches in my book. I know he was just pre-empting what the league was probably about to make happen anyway, but kudos for pulling the plug now.

For some bizarre reason, I am reminded of an old Grizzard joke:

Nothing, there's some things a pig just won't do!
