As long as Dykes is the front runner we're OK.***

Sounds like Morris is very interested in the job

Nov 28, 2012, 7:30 PM

and Clemson is working to keep him here per another site.

I wish Chad the best, but I don't want to play against him every year! Seems disrespectful to Clemson...but that's coming from a fan living in Raleigh who's not having wads of cash thrown at him :)

How is that disrespectful. It would be a promotion for Morris to a D-1 Head Coaching job. He is not a lifelong Clemson fan, he is a coach trying to move up in his profession.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Why are you here coot worrying about Clemson***

I say it in jest. I live and work around lots out Pack fans. Purely selfish on my part.

I have to admit, I wouldn't wish him the best if he took the NCSU job.

search firm?

Nov 28, 2012, 7:29 PM

Why in the world would they pay a firm $90k to find Morris and Dykes.... I'm definitely in the wrong business.

Here's the link

To the firm who did the search. Get your resume polished up.

Hahah my dream be hired as Auburns coach be fired and get payed 150k for 48 months.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I don't feel good about this...

Nov 28, 2012, 7:33 PM

Chad interviewing and Tahj saying he is filling out the paper-work to possibly go pro. Wonder if the players know something.

Talk about a hangover from this past weekend!

Nov 28, 2012, 7:35 PM

This would not make me happy...

Re: Talk about a hangover from this past weekend!

Nov 28, 2012, 7:39 PM

There is no need to panic. If he leaves, we go out and find another good offensive coordinator. If Tajh leaves, get the next guy ready.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Boyd is RS Junior, he's graduated.

Nov 28, 2012, 7:39 PM [ in reply to I don't feel good about this... ]

He was gonna file his paper work regardless. Boyd will be back, Nuk will not. Chad will take the job if offered. The search firm interview at least Dykes and Morris today, maybe more. Where was the AD ? Probably talking to the Vandy coach.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

He hasn't graduated.

Nov 28, 2012, 11:10 PM

Or do you mean will graduate soon?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Own less, do more.

Chad is just taking practice reps-More worried Tajh will get

Nov 28, 2012, 7:40 PM

some bad advice from somewhere and try and jujump

I am 70/30 he will come back though -- very important he comes back

It's been reported that the agent the family has talked with

Nov 28, 2012, 7:42 PM

advised him to file the paper work but is still advising him to return for one more year. It's on TCI some where.

Re: Re: Talk about a hangover from this past weekend!

Nov 28, 2012, 11:29 PM

We have the highest paid assistant coaches in the nation, and regardless of whether Tajh and Nuk declare for the draft, we would still have the talent to have a top ten offense for several more years. Any offensive coordinator in the nation that aspires to be a head coach would jump at that position. Three years, put up amazing numbers, and move on to be a head coach somewhere.

That being said, I like Chad Morris and hope he stays. I think he's been great in his role as qb coach also. Living in Raleigh, I definitely don't want him to go to NCSU.

Go Tigers!
