Maybe that "something in those hills" is some extra healing power. Great to hear we have our #3 back.

I dunno, from what I've read on the typical injury it takes six months to heal and six months to adjust the mind to make the body go full speed again.
If that's true then he's only about a month or so early. Evidently, he's already overcome the mental part.
I really don't expect to see him on the field for another five or six weeks.

such a positive affect on the team and every body around him. He brings a spirit and drive to the locker room that can not be imitated or replicated. A true love of the game helps when some one might not have it that day and look over at guy who has worked so hard to get back that and say Wow that guy wants to be here I should too. Go Get them Chad I hope all our Tigers play with as big of a heart that you have.

actually it never happened. chad was just looking for attention. just a little boo boo that needed some ice and rest. not the 4 months of hell the kid put himself through getting himself healthy. some of the things written in here truly boggle the mind.

Athletes can recover in 5-6 months. The surgery is getting

quicker and better as well, which is causing improvement for ACL repair. Mine was completely repaired and I was back to playing Ultimate Frisbee within 6 months.
An important factor is how flexible you are before the surgery.

I admire Chad for his tenacity and motivataion. However, there is no way he can have recovered from a torn ACL in 5 months. Medical specialists say that a nine month recovery is a miracle, and a year is the norm. Even Tajh was guarded in his comments. In my opinion, this a disaster in the making. Doesn't the coaching staff have an obligation to protect these young men from themselves? We are going to need Chad next year. For god's sake let him fully recover. Is there a working brain on the coaching staff that will stand up to this folly?

It was torn completely. It is something that is apparent on MRI, even if it were not, once in surgery, they would have seen it.
It is just a testament to Chad's hard work and the advancements we have made in medicine.
On a political note, stop expecting large gains in area of research and development. Thank you democratic party, affordable care act, and the majority of Americans that voted a bozo into office.

to Danny Poole and his staff. He catches a lot of heat, but to have Chad Kelly ready to play this soon is quite a testament to the quality of the athletic training staff. Granted, it also took a lot of hard work on Chad's part, but the staff deserves a tremendous amount of credit. It'll be great to see him on the field some this season.

Great news; however, hope he is very cautious. Recovery is different for every person, but 4 months is pushing it IMO. Not an MD, but did stay at a holiday inn last night.
