Elite Georgia linebacker says Clemson is "building a dynasty"

Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables and defensive tackles coach Todd Bates have been busy on the recruiting trail in the month of May, handing out offers to some of the region’s best defensive players. That includes an offer to 2020 4-star outside linebacker prospect Kevin Swint of Carrollton (GA). Full Story »

Not sure what would cause him to think that? We signed 6-5 stars just in the last class. If he wants great academics he’ll have to do his homework..

So many of Clemson offer recipients are “blessed to receive” an offer. In fact, all of them are “blessed.” You would think a couple would feel honored/pleased/happy/thrillled/gratified/fortunate to receive an offer, but “blessed” seems to be the standard terminology in announcing an offer has been received from Clemson.

Does anyone know if recruits of other schools feel “blessed?”

Please note I have nothing against the religious nature of feeling blessed. Just curious if anyone else has thoughts about this.

don't have an answer, but have a blessed day.***

I’ve wondered the same myself, at

Least as to the general use of the term “blessed”... such a common verbiage . I don’t object of course but I suppose it’s just common parlance
