Our players were better I thought. I reLly chalk it up to bad coaching on Brownells part. Bad shot selection.

seems like your 2 sentences are a bit contradictory. How does bad coaching and bad shot selection go together?


I'm seriously asking. Seems like in the past we've had some questionable inbounds plays (offensive and defensive) but the teams have been patient to a fault on working for the perfect shot.

We did not defend the 3 very well and at the last part of the game when Temple went cold, we could not take advantage of it, which included some poor shot selection. These are the type of games that we are going to have to win to get to the tournament. Close losses to good teams are not going to cut it.

We had the usual problem of going cold shooting, letting the other team build a lead, and then trying to come back at the end and falling short.

Same old, same old from the last couple of years.

We are in for a bunch of somewhat competitive losses and maybe an NIT bid...
