But Clemson has held 8 of 9 under 14 pts (and played better offenses).

for beating an Iowa team that lost to the only decent teams they've played. They're also getting a bump for beating a Meesheegan team that absolutely thumped Notre Dame.

The Athletic Director for Iowa is on the panel. He may recuse himself for Iowa, but he doesn't for Penn State.

They looked incredibly average against Pitt .
I said it earlier and I stand by it , we would beat PSU by 3 TDs at Happy Valley if we flew up there in the morning .
They're not our caliber .

One mystery to me is figuring out who decided that Iowa was so good. Their wins are:

Miami Ohio
Rutgers - 2-7 record
Iowa State by 1 point the week after Iowa State had to go to 3 overtimes to beat Northern Iowa
Middle Tennessee state - 3-6 record
Purdue - 3-6 record and Iowa beat them by 6 points
Northwestern - 1-7 record

Those are their 6 wins, and they lost against Michigan and Penn State. Granted, the two losses were close, but Army took Michigan to overtime for goodness sake. The two huge Penn State wins are a 5 point win over that Iowa team, and a 7 point win over Michigan. That's the same Michigan team that beat Middle Tennessee by 19, won in overtime against Army, and lost by 21 points to Wisconsin.
