Have to assume that Alabama and the Ohio St/Mich winner

Oct 17, 2016, 6:25 PM

are locks for the final four. No doubt if we win out we are also a lock. However, give me your opinion of this...we lose to FSU but go on and win the ACC. Meanwhile, Washington wins out. Personally I think both of us would still be in the top four, but, assuming what I just supposed, who would be selected between us and Wash.?

In your scenario who pushes us out? Michigan and OSU won't both make it. We would be 4th seed.

Agreed we would be the 4 seed

Remain at 4th seed? Michigan or OSU are going to drop

out of top 4. If we win out, why wouldn't we move back to number 3?

If we lose...stick a fork in us...

Oct 17, 2016, 6:31 PM

...unless everyone else competing for that 4th spot also loses and our loss is a very close one.

Don't overlook Baylor

I still believe, contrary to popular opinion, that an undefeated Big XII team gets in ahead of any one-loss team.

WVU is still in the mix.***

A 1 loss Clemson with an extra win against a ranked foe in the ACCCG will trump an undefeated BIG12 champ regardless. Where will the quality wins come from in an undefeated BIG12 champ? Even if Baylor wins out they have what...one ranked win against a subpar Oklahoma? Then SOS comes into play with the ACC leading the pack. It's literally a no-brainer

If we lose to any team, then we don't go. Baylor goes in our place, and Washington goes if undefeated (which they will be).

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Washington will not be undefeated.***

We don't need to be losing a game. The close games and

what appears to be sloppy play by our offense will hurt us in a scenario where we have one loss. We would need to go on a serious rampage and hope some other not only lose, but look bad in other games.

undefeated UW will certainly get in over 1 loss us

Oct 17, 2016, 7:10 PM

But I think UW loses one. But even with 1 loss they likely get in with a win in the pac 12 title game. Us and Washington are in a similar spot. Can maybe afford to slip up once as long as we win our conferences

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I don't even want to talk about losing to FSU until

Oct 17, 2016, 7:12 PM

We do, I don't think we will and last week could actually be a blessing. Suppose we went to FSU coming off a BC blowout game and played the way we did? We got that out of the way. I think we were complacent, sloppy, looking past NCST and it almost bit us. I don't see that being the case now.

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

it really depends on how LSU, Auburn & Texas A&M finish...

Oct 17, 2016, 7:33 PM

if those 3 teams stay ranked, and they all beat Ole Miss... the Rebels will have 6 Quality Losses. That's hard to beat.

A drunk will run a STOP sign, but a stoner will wait for it to turn green.

We beat FSU and move to #2....then hopefully Mich beats

Oct 18, 2016, 9:00 AM

OSU and we both stay #2 or #3......we want to beat that goofy blue ba$#### who stole some of our recruits.

Then we get another shot at goliath.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

this is a decent overview on every remaining team's chance

Oct 18, 2016, 9:15 AM

some of these are a stretch (like Auburn and TN), but the top 5 or 6 are worthwhile reading.
