Hats off to Keshawn Johnson

Not sure if this has been posted yet but I have much respect for Keshawn Johnson after reading this article. I think more parents should take this approach when THEIR student athlete gets into trouble. Punishment shouldn't always be up to the coach. Favorite line "you won't embarrass Mike Riley, this family, or Nebraska"

Are you just now addressing your son's issues? Really? Now? You didn't address it when he costs his high school team for fighting? Cause he had to sit out the next state playoff game AND was forced to sit out the first two games of the next season. BUT now you see that there's a problem? You didn't see a problem when he was expelled from school the first time? And yet NOW you choose to make a PR move and damage control by pretending you're a hardened parent? What can a kid learn from a guy so bitter about his ex-girlfriend dating another guy that he threatened to kill him and now has multiple restraining orders against him?

Guess he's just following in the footsteps of his wife-beater dad......
