will get help from the scoreboard & ribbon boards. There won't be sound from the scoreboard this year- maybe next. So watch the student section & the boards. Mic Man will get help this time from the staff.

The students chanted This is but the regular fans chanted TIGERS instead of Death Valley. They need to let everyone know before hand what the chant it. I guess they thought we were saying Clemson.

on the north side of the stadium this is sounds like clemson

With everyone so used to it being Clemson they instinctively answered back Tigers.

I think one problem is that "this is" and "Clemson"

sounds kinda similar from across the stands, I was sitting in the south stands next to the west end zone and couldnt really tell what it was. It would really be different if it were something like "we are" or simply just having one side say "death" and the other side "Valley"

I love the idea but have they thought about doing Death/Valley..like the Orange/White or Clemson/Tigers? Just a thought...

Its a good idea, but the sounding is terrible...

the syllables are off... Chants that work with two sections of stadiums usually have the same number of syllables... thats why "Clemson"--"Tigers" sounds good and at Penn State "We are"--"Penn State" works well because of the same syllables... think about it in your own heads, it just does not sound right.
