Johnny Manziel is the Best Player in College Football

Sorry, but its true. Its literally like watching a video game the way the guy moves the ball down the field with his arm and legs. He wont win the Heisman again, but he is the best player on the field vs anyone.

Putting loyalty to the side, would you trade Johnny for Tajh?

I also think he has one of, if not the, strongest arms in college football, esp when he is on the run.

Have you seen how many times he stands still in the pocket for days. Idk if it is a result of not facing a pass rush or not but his O-Line is legit and certainly compliments a man with his tools.

of running the ball as well as a good oline. Did you see Bama's defense on the last drive of the game? they were scared to do anything but basically stand in place.

Is does not represent Clemson at all. Clemson gentleman needs no introduction while Manziel needs a thorough butt kicking. Have a hard time rooting for him no matter his skill. And let's see who makes a better pro. Tajh without question.

Be good in the pros. Tebow is perfect example. And before you laugh. Tebow had better passer rating than P Manning in college. Look how well that transitioned.
He's more likely to end up in prison for point shaving than a starting nfl qb

Exactly what I said. In college Tebow looked just fine throwing Tds. Throwing motion or not, he had better efficiency stats than Peyton. Manziel throws a lot of miracle i hope my guy catches it passes. Aka, picks in nfl

Everyone knew Tebow had a terrible release

and was the master of throwing the ball in the general direction of the WR and hoping for the best. Johnny has a lightening quick release and throws on the run just as well as he does from the pocket. They are completely different Q.B.'s and while Tebow stayed the same or regressed in terms of his mechanics throughout college. Manziel is much better this year than last year in terms of delivering the football where only his receivers can catch it.

Only using that to say college means nothing for stats and perception. I remember Sam Bradford being a great pocket qb.... In college. Or how about any one of the USC (cal) qbs.
Point is. Long term in the NFL, Tajh is a better player.

They both have the potential to be great, but it really depends on what team they go to, what sort of line the team has, and if the team is committed to winning. You can be an awesome college Q.B., but if things don't fall into place you can look terrible in the pros.

Agreed Drew. 100%. But from an outside view. mamziel has some growing up to do. They won't tolerate the *** in an nfl locker room. Tajh is level headed and Mentally ready. Be interesting to watch

If the talent is there, teams overlook a bunch of stuff

Also, I have know a bunch of people that are around the A&M locker room, and Johnny is one of the most respected and popular players on the team. Kid will do what it takes to win, including putting his body on the line for his teammates. Would have been easy for him to shut it down after hurting his knee against Ole Miss, but he only missed 2 snaps. It's what you do on the field that matters in an NFL locker room.
