not sure if they are done building but it took over the Mellow Mushroom location and the apartments next to it

They are renting out rooms? Probably cannot sell them all because of the glut of housing.

Yes, they have 4 bedroom suites available for game weekends at 2k per night with a 3 night minimum

I live just behind this development and they are a long way from being done. They are just now getting the windows and doors in so they are a still many weeks from being ready for folks to move in.

used as short-term rental for football. They want tourism tax dollars, etc that they get from hotels that they don't get from student housing. There are no hotels available so I don't see how they are missing anything and this would just bring more money into Clemson's economy by allowing it. Typical politicians wanting their dirty hands on the $$$$
