Has ND's schedule really been that great?

People keep talking about how tough their schedule has been and all the good teams they have beaten. Really? Right now they are living off wins against Mich, Stanford, and VT who were ranked at the time they played them (although there was absolutely no reason for VT to be ranked after what happened against ODU). By the end of the year, I'm not sure any of those teams will be ranked.

I'm looking at TAMU. If they win the games they are suppose to and likely win at least 2 out of 3 vs Aub, LSU, and Miss St, that will be better than any win ND will have.

Michigan is a good win. A&M is bettter than Stanford

NC State, who we play next, is likely better than VT. Their schedule has been OK, but they've gotten a lot of credit for beating teams that were ranked at the time they played.

How do you know Mich is a good win? MD is their best win

so far or is it the 3 point win vs losing record Northwestern that Duke beat by 2 TDs? Michigan hasn't beaten a ranked team in 2 or 3 years. What is the evidence that they are a good team?

That makes them GREAT!!!

There is no real reason to assume Michigan is good. It’s just that brand name people THINK WITHOUT ACTUALLY THINKING make them “good.”

win, but it's definitely a "good" win right now. You can argue about it if you want, but Michigan was 7th in S&P+ going into the weekend and dominating Maryland certainly won't hurt them. They are also up to 6th now in FPI which is up to date for games through this weekend.

Michigan has a very good defense that's arguably been better than ours so far this year, and their offense, while still not stellar, has made strides this year and is much,much better than last year's version.
